Help With Identifying My Bally Machine Please..

Hi guys! Just purchased my first Slot Machine. I'm having NO luck trying identify it, i've checked Google and looked around for a model number but i'm not having any luck. My plans are to restore it and enjoy it, it doesn't look much different inside then my EM pinball machines so i'm pretty sure I can get it going. Any help would be great! (Model, Year, What coins does it use) Is it possible to learn the history of it?

ID tags usually on the handle side , bottom front. Also check for scribe marks on the front of the reels or on the hopper. Sometime there are tags inside on the wiring too.

It looks exaktly exact  as my Bally 809 but with a strange "overglass".

My guess is  a 952 that has been modified.  The top is too short to be a 808.  Every 809 that I have seen had a chrome top including the Binion's 809  that I have.  Look on the side of the reels (where the four screws are) there should be a three digit number on each one that could be back tracked as to who it was built for.

Liberty Belle ID book doesn't show any thing on a 847-2.  What book are you using, so I can add it to my reading list?

Bally did make machines for other country’s. If you were to remove the glass, reels and belly, you probably would see the name Bally and date marked on the glass.
