IGT S2000 Ardac 5 Bill validator

Hello. I have a Ardac 5 bill validator on my IGT S2000 machine. This machine takes only old Euro bills and i want to upgrade this bill validator to take new Euro bills or new Norwegian bills. I don't know where i can find this softwere to upgrade this bill validator.

You can try contacting these folks, they do a lot of tech support in Europe for bill acceptors. They have a support forum and blog, plus a contact page. Many people there use the Ardac bill acceptors so they may know how to update them.

IGT S2000 Ardac Bill validator

Hello. I have a Ardac IBA5 Bill validator on my s2000. This take only old Euro bills. I want to change this to take new Euro bills. I have talk to the Eurocoins and they could not help me. So maybe i have to change another Bill validator to take another currentcy

Did they say that updating your old bill validator was impossible? Did they offer or suggest a remedy, such as buying a bill validator from them? It may be difficult to find and buy a replacement bill validator that will accept Euro bills from a USA dealer. You could try contacting slot machine dealers and brokers that ship machines to countries outside the US, some of them may install bill validators compatible with Euro note usage.

Have you searched online for European-located slot machine dealers that have parts for sale?

Yes. They says this Bill validator unit are old type and they use now UBA and WBA in Europe.

Well, good luck finding that. Maybe someone that has a similar machine with the same bill validator has an updated eprom in it and they can help you.
