I would watch out for CBD vaping cartridges - while CBD is likely not harmful in itself the contents of the vape cartridge is not regulated by the government.
In the US its AFT (Alcohol, Firearms & Tabaco) that does the regulation, with CBD not being any of these they fly under the regulatory wire, which includes not publishing all of the "proprietary" non active-ingredients. CBD may be regulated, licensed, legal at a state level but that doesn't mean it follows all the AFT regs. Very gray.


In any case one of the ingredients in non regulated vapes is often Vitamin-E acetate.

Even some of the regulated vape cartridges contain accelerants to help the contents vaporize faster. One in particular is diacetyl, and that is the culprit in popcorn lung.

Loved Red Headed Stranger's older music and I know pot is legal in many States nowadays but man these people stink! Phew!

UGH! I HATE that it's legal now here! 
And I'm NOT against it but the moronic California government doesn't ENFORCE law, so... you smell it EVERYWHERE while driving (yep they're smoking it while driving), on the river trail, sidewalks, supermarket, parking lots, everywhere. It's supposed to stay out of public areas but nope... now we all have to get second hand highs from all the potheads. 

Oh and of course the costs for cannabis went through the roof since the government wants the tax money from sales to blow on "projects" like our high speed rail - literally BILLIONS spent for over 20 years and not ONE rail in place yet. And this I believe has actually caused more illegal pot production, which usually brings in more crime and so on and so on.

Up here in Canada its legal across the board at a federal level.
The big difference here is that the stores are free to use the banking system, so debit and credit cards can be used and very little cash is exchanged at the retail level which limits crime. Not to mention hand guns are illegal so while there are a fair share of them on the streets (brought in illegally from the US) they are far less prevalent in crimes.

I have friends that grow their own and smoke. The plants in their yard smell like skunk cabbage. I don't like the smell at all. I don't see that smoking weed is any different than tobacco. Too much litter, butts out the car window, ash trays dumped in parking lots. Its called a filthy habit for a reason. I do however think that consuming cannabis is probably less taxing on the body than alcohol consumption if its consumed as an edible.  Soluble tablets that bypass the digestive system are probably the least invasive. Not to mention that edibles are much more socially acceptable due to the absence of stink, waste and other smoking paraphernalia (papers, matches, lighters, roaches, bongs).

Cost wise a pack of gummies 10mg (adult dose) is about $7.00 Canadian which is about the same as the cost of a single rum and coke in a bar. A good bottle of Rum would run you $35-40. This makes legal cannabis about 70% cheaper than the booze equivalent (drunk vs high).  My daughter and her boyfriend are class A pot heads and get their weed from "friends" and say its about 25% of the cost of the legal retail market.

I still prefer my over priced scotch ....
