IGT I Game Plus Trouble Shooting

Hi all,


Today I received a couple of boards in the mail with games already installed. Hopefully someone can help me get them set up.


First question:


On Lobster Mania, I can get the system to boot to an outline of LM, but a message pops up saying, "No game installed." I go to the games menus and Lobster Mania isn't listed.


Again, the outline on the main screen shows lucky larry, but the middle part of the screen where the reels would be is blank (Just white). Does this mean the game is there but I just need to do something to get it working?




Second question:


2 of the games are set to A.U currency and have a Euro sign next to them. Can I change this to US dollars? Cleopatra is one of these games and these are all 3902 boards.

Slope, either post pics or at least a list of the software in each game. You are going to have to change the GME chips to US versions at a minimum. Also will need a key chip to set them up. Key 22 or 40 will clear & key. Key 17 or 37 is key only.

I got mine from Digi-Key—they're cheap, and the company provides great service.

It'll save you from having to use the key chip whenever you swap games.

I'm assuming this chip—which is in the backplane of your game where the 3902 board plugs in—is the same, but check first!!

One board is dead and will get replaced. The Lobster Mania board I was told needs the key chip installed to actually activate the game. My key chip arrives on Saturday.


Also, the vendor that sold me these boards told me that I just need the key chip and I can change the denomination to US dollars.


Are you saying that you can't?

A.U. probably means "accounting unit."

So if your accounting unit is a penny, the meter will run with every penny wagered/won. I recommend changing the accounting unit to $0.10 or $1 when you're in the key chip menu. (unless you want to use penny, nickel, or quarter denominations, of course)
