IGT S 2000 machine type mismatch error

I had a battery fail. Replaced it did a clear with 97 chip than the key00017. Everything I think went good but I am getting the machine type mismatch now. How do I get rid of that error. Any help would be good. This is a 9 line with 5 coin bet  machine built in 01/2006. Do I have the right clear and key chips for this machine.

Try flicking the jackpot key until it says to push test button for 3 seconds and/or says to close the main door.

Did you set machine type to upright after the clear?

That is the part I could not find in the settings. looked but could not find it. Also could not find how to set up denomination.I have a sheet that tells how to use chips but it did not work the way they show.

Key machine with NO CREDITS

7.1.1.1 accounting denom - set to .01

7.1.1.2 coin denom (whatever you want here like .25 for quarter)

7.1.6 machine type- set to upright

And for future. You don't need to clear for a dead battery. Should have been a few simple turns of the key and push a button for 3 seconds

Since this is my first attempt at replacing the batteries on a S 2000 their has to be a guide to show you how to do it right. The things I need to know is how do I set up the options. When I get to that part I am lost. I press the test button on the cpu board I get to accounting. I am lost there. Need to know how to get through this. All the right things to enter in the settings and how to enter them. Is their a list as to what to enter as I go through all these settings.

IVC00224, KEY00045 recommended for your machine. 2006 manufactured machine should have enhanced MPU unless it has been changed.

I can find the IVC0024 chip but have not had luck finding the KEY0045 chip.Does anybody on this site sell these. please PM me with price and I will buy from them.

Well I did get my chips from an a member and all is well with the game. The only problem I have now is I don't know how to set up the progressive jackpot. It is a stand alone jackpot. This is a double diamond run 5 reel 9 bet game. Any help would be great. This would be my first time at doing this so please make it easy for me to set it up. when I turn on the machine it says no data . Thanks Robert
