IGT Gameking 6.2 with 044 board, Key 28, and Bettor TITO Battery replace help

Have IGT Gameking 6.2 with 044 board. Bought key chip 28 and Bettor tito.  Set it up perfectly 3 years ago.  Had to replace main battery.  Machine works but I cant remember the steps to use Key 28 to set up Bettor Tito.  I have Bettor Tito instructions but don't remember how to properly use key 28 to get to settings to change them.  Can someone help with VERY detailed instructions on how to get to settings with key chip.  Very easy to follow directions for Tito just don't remember at all how to use key 28 to get to where I can change settings.  Thanks,  sacain67

rickhunter,  I appreciate your feedback and I have read your post and have printed it out.  It is great and very clear.  I just forgot how to properly key chip my machine.  After I put key chip 28 in and restart machine what are the steps necessary to get to where your post starts.  There are 3 options after chip is in what exactly do I have to do to get into the key chip menu setup?  Do I have to clear ram,eprom?  Turn the key or hit the reset button inside to get to set up, because I don't want to mess anything up.  I know that this is simple but I don't remember the steps to get to the set up after putting chip in and restarting.  Thanks sacain67

Start with option 3 first (keychip).  Power down.  R&R 28 and re-install boot chip.  Re-start and you should walk through any key turn(s) till you get to the settings detailed in the Bettor instructions.
If it doesn't work after that, re-do the procedure (Key 28 start), choose all three options (1 thru 3) and start from scratch.  After a battery replacement I'd expect this would be the best plan?
