quarters, i purchased a box of them from bank and they all fit
if i had to guess nickels would be around $100 i would think

The hopper capacity for the S+ is: 3,200 nickels ($160) / 3,050 quarters ($762)
The hopper for the S2000 probably has the same capacity.
