What game prom do I need?

Hi! I am new to owning a slot machine and was hoping someone could help me determine the right game prom for my machine. I have a 2 coin black and white five times pay machine. The reel chip installed in my slot was a double diamond SS3444 chip, so I ordered a new reel chip that matches my machine (SS7812). The machine had an SP878 game prom installed. How do I know if that is the correct game prom? Does the game chip need to match the reel chip? Or does the game chip match the machine?

SP878 should work fine with SS7812
