booting issues

 i read alot of diff posts on here with alpha booting issues and the corrections to each were different,  i have units here that will not post on their own, just get a bios beep when normally turned on, cycle the atx sw on the cpu and itll fire up and run normal, power sup voltages are good, these will do this in the machine or out, dont matter, tried different psu units, same thing, all have new batts and have been cleared and set back up, i have 6 of these with the same issue, 1 or 2 was ok till batt change then issue set in,... now they're all doing it.... tried clearing and setting up again, no change...im at a brick wall here with these


any ideas ?

Turning the 3 switches on from left to right and off from right to left is recommended to avoid this problem.  In other words make sure the cabinet and main switches are turned on before you turn on the board.  Then turn off the board first when shutting down.

i just checked one using 3 switches works fine, just using the 2 mains does not.. that solves that prob
