Putting Credits on a Coinless S2000

i have an S2000 that is not taking bills. I have enabled the bill acceptor and still no dice. Cash box shoved all the way in, cash box door shut, leds on in bill acceptor and all the switches set correctly but it won’t cycle. Is there a way to put credits on the coinless machine to test the rest of the operations?

It has a ticket printer but there are no credits on the machine to print a ticket.

If the bill validator is not working neither will TITO. (Unless the service button is set up to add credits)
Has the BV ever functioned? Does it cycle when you first turn on the machine? Type? JCM, Mars? Need more information.

The only way to enable a bill unit on a s-2000 is through the auto config option, it will tell you if the bill is enabled, if it is enabled, then the unit should cycle on power up, if not then something is not right, try and sub the transport unit or cash can,  I believe even if the unit is not enabled, just upon power up it should cycle.  are the 2 red LEDs on ( visible from the right side near the switches, all the switches should be the same direction.)

The bill acceptor is a JCM. I am getting the LED’s on the right side and switches are set right. I did an Auto Config and it saw the printer but not the bill validator. It shows enabled in the Accounting menu but I have not seen it cycle.

try to auto config a couple of time, did you check all three connections on the back of the wba assembly, two pin is 13 vdc, the 5 pin is the tx and rx,  the other 5pin with only two pins in it are the door bezel signal. if it doesn't auto config, and the cash can is good you probably have a bad transport. or wiring .
