l Bally V1292

I recently purchased a Bally V1292 from a yard sale,worked great at the sale,brought it home worked flawlessly for about a day.turned my back on it for about an 1/2 hour ,only to find a powered blank screen with a vertical line.Machine is not responding to hopper reset buttons or board reset button.no response from the coin in switch Any clues, beside making it a paper weight

Behind the hopper on the back wall is the large power supply board.  Check the fuses. Post a picture of the stack of boards under the monitor.  4 card stacks are next to impossible to get repaired. Reseat all the harness connections on the left and right side of the 4 card stack.

 It probably wouldn’t hurt to re-seat the plugs on the power supply and the small board next to it the power distribution board. Hopefully this will help

 Thanks for the suggestions, I had done the resenting of every connection, checked all fuses. Not sure if the PC boards are the start, but a lot of items on the door have stopped working ,such as door open alarm, coin in switch,door lock coil.
Still no response ,to reset buttons as far as the screen goes. But after doing connection there is a yellow Led on top left of the stack rack that lit up on powering on and will turn off after depressing reset on top card left side.
Will keep trying for awhile, if not V1292 parts may be available for the asking

Sounds like the power supply has failed.  Common problem.  I am interested in parts if it gets to that point.

You might also want to check the edge board connection on the board stacks. There is a plug that can tend to develop burnt connections. Think it’s on the right side edge.
