I did it all wrong but it seems to work fine

I have an S2000 roundtop set up for 3 reel, one line games that I bought a few years ago.  I also purchased a game kit for it so when I tired of the theme I could change it.  I finally got around to changing it and it looks great.  The problem (?) is I didn't realize that it was an S+ game (Double Lucky 7's).


I did the software just like an S2000 on a different MPU from the one my Titanic is on. The kit seller had included the game chip that I thought was correct; it's labeled SB100027 which is apparently a Tabasco 3 reel, 1 line, 3 coin game. I already had the SG000363 and VS011GX1 chips and used them. Notice anything missing, like the SS chip?  Didn't use one or the SB001000 chip.


Everything seems to work just fine.  The game plays normally and winning combinations are displayed correctly on the reels and the amount paid.  The backlit reels works correctly.  I don't have multi-denomination capability but I thought that was because you can't get that with a S+ kit.


I checked around looking for an SS chip for the game (looking for SS6742, or S6743) but couldn't fine them on the internet.


Any problem with the way I have this machine set up?

You are good to go.  When you have the correct SB chip there is no need for the SS and SB001000 chips. You did not do anything wrong.
