Ring Quest OS

I've searched everywhere and all my lists I've saved and none have the OS number for Ring Quest.


Someone is selling the game with no OS and I'm not sure I have an OS that will work for it.


Can someone with the game help me out. Much appreciated. :EmoticonHelp4:

So I tried the is 1221 I have and it didn't work. I actually have a few 1221 and all went to Call attendant after boot with no game load. Any suggestions?

You need the 2000 BIOS and 512 memory if I recall  correctly..................
But SSOS1221 IS correct!

Here's what I get before the black CALL ATTENDANT screen. I do have BIOS 2000 and 512 memory.


Edit** After reviewing it myself I see that it says sig invalid for the game card. So assume the game card is corrupt.
This is the 2nd out of 3 cards I've gotten off ebay that have been bad.   :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

S528 signature invalid!  You have a bad game card.  The process that validates the cards to make sure they have not been altered is failing while checking the Ring Quest card.

Tainted kernel message just means the particular driver is not supported by the community.  All drivers are supposed to be approved so it doesn't cause issues, but the manufacturers make their own kernel drivers and they don't really care if the kernel they used for their OS officially supports it or  not  It doesn't mean the driver won't work, it's just not "officially" supported by the community (Linux kernel community).

The OP's problem was that he had an invalid game card (Failed validation), once you get that, it's a cascade issue that will eventually end in a system Halted message.  All other messages are usually pointless.  You just need to find the error that cause the cascade failure.
