Swapping Board

What would be the procedure be to swap board from a working s2000 Super stars to a Cleopatra
whose showing please close door message and freezes.
Both machines had issues but have been able to get super stars working somewhat after removing Varta and cleaning up board
and messing with settings a bit to get BV to accept bill and get credits. Still a printer Hardware error.
Board on Cleopatra  shows considerable corrosion on some components next to where Varta was located.
cant get past the close door message currently. Noticed the optics were swapped but that and hoped that would possibly fix the issue
but did not.  After considerable reading thinking my board may be junk.
