Bally S6000 Question

I recently purchased a Bally S6000 off facebook. The Battery was dead so I ordered the clear chips and a new battery conversion kit. Got it cleared and up and going. However it does not have a bill acceptor. And two of the 3 wires to the coin comparison broke off. So I have no way to insert tokens or credits. This is mainly a two part question. Is there a setting for free play inside the Bally S6000 options? Also if no is there a way I can wire a button to insert coins and bypass the coin mech all together?

Or do I bit the bullet and buy a new wire harness and hope everything else works? I had to buy 2 sets of clear chips already as the first set appeared to be corrupt. Thanks

Did it have a BV and it's just missing or was there never one

It had one but it's gone. I did manage to test it using the pseudo coin button. But still like to know if an add credit button is possible. Or even tournament mode.

So I figured out how to make it work. I unplugged the audit key switch and plugged in the tournament mode wires. Works like a charm after playing with the settings to add credits.

This does leave me with a few more questions.


1) does changing the denomination of the machine effect the payouts at all? The machine is setup as 25 cents 2 coin Blazing seven times pay. However looking at the dips and settings says 50 cents. Puzzled on that one.


2) To change the denomination I need to change the dips then do a safe clear before going into the settings to change the denomination inside that?

3) Is there a good place to find par sheets either on the forum or online?

4) I seen an option for Crazy reels in the manual. Anyone have any experience with this? Does it work for all games if activated or does the software have to support it?

Yes, to change the denomination,  you change the dip switch and then do a clear. I believe Crazy Spin will work with most any 3 reel game.  Flip the dip switch and do a clear for that change as well. I don't have an answer for your other questions.
