Hi,

I bought a lot of cards and in it is the model AS-2978-20 and I do not see for which machine is this model?

I’ve run into this board only twice, and both times I was not able to make the machines work. I did figure out that you must have a good battery, or the machine wouldn’t do anything. I’ve been able to access the menus, but the reel reader do not respond. I changed the IO, reel readers, and reader control board, but just nothing? There is a different style PS in this game too. It has the 3 normal voltages, but also a 24v test loop that’s hot.
The best guess I have, is that this Boards was a proto type to what was going to be used in the next  generation slot machine? Pics I’ve posted are of the machine I have here. I swapped in a green Varta battery, where they had a battery pack. The Varta battery was used on the Bally V1000 & V2000 Boards.
