new to the game king

ok so i just picked up a game king machine the other day. previously i have been playing with mostly igt s+ and s2000 slot machines, this is my first game king. im curious how i find out which version i have? it currently has 4 different poker games, 4 different keno games and 4 different slots. the previous owner also included a second board with a cleopatra slot machine game on it. im curious if theres a newer version with more game selections, possibly something with a black jack? also the machine currently only accepts bill currency, is it just as simple as adding the coin mech hopper etc. to coin it?

Go into the accounting menu and pick the show version option, it will display the Base and GME information which is required to find out what version you have.  Also post a photo of the mpu board to see if you have an 044 system or a 3902/3802 system.

Some more additional information:

1.  You have a 3902 board with an eprom multi media lite board (the daughter card with the sound eproms)
2.  You can obtain an Multi Media Lite board with a Simm slot, this will let you play iGame Plus and Gameking 5.x games as they require a simm slot for the sound.
3.  The latest Gameking Multigame for 3902 is 5.0.  There are 5.1, and 5.3 variants, but they are all either just poker games or just keno.  If you want poker, keno, BJ and slots, you want 5.0  THere's also the 100 play and 50 play poker games that were popular back in the day.
4.  You can upgrade your cabinet to 044 by purchasing a backplane and an MPU board.  The software for this platform comes in the form of a flash board that has all the software on it.  The poker and slot games avalable for 044 are significantly better.  Gameking 6.4 is the best one of the Gameking series, and Superstars Poker is probably the best combination board of them all, having full versions of Wolf Run and Coyote Wild along with multiplay poker, ulitmate poker, blackjack keno, and the usual other poker variants.

clizifer,

You have blackjack available on your current G0001777 game chips—you just need a Key 17 chip to unlock it.

You can find instructions to do that throughout the forums.

what would i have to get to upgrade to 5.0 software with a blackjack option? and where would i be able to purchase from?

As posted above, you already have blackjack on your existing game, you just have to enable it.  You will probably need a key17 chip in order to get into the settings that will allow you to enable that particular game.

ok so i was given a key chip with the game as well. i was able to go in and change the games, but now when i start the machine its saying operator must set denomination to non-blank value options verification required. only thing i did with the key chip was change the games, did i miss something when i did that? how do i clear this so i can play the games?

ok so i was able to set a denomination and clear the error and get to play the machine, but ive lost the multi denomination selection and the 2 different games i tried to add were not added and the 2 i removed were removed

where would one acquire the parts to do this? is there someone out there that sells a package to retrofit?
