Reset Keys

Just got some IGT S+ machines from Canada and the 2341 key does not fit. Seems to be similar but only goes in 1/4 of the way. Thought it had a broken key but all 8 were the same. Anyone know or have keys for them?

Good luck with that. I've never had one that didn't use 2341. It might help if you know what key # you need. I have some new switches if you want to replace them.

Do your Canadian machines have bill validators in them? If so do they work on the older Canadian currency? Would you be interested in selling them? I would take them all. Let me know, thanks.

They have WBA's. I'm changing the chips. Out of 8 machines all had BV but only 3 had chips. I thought a key was broken off because they always take the 2341, so I changed the switch. Then started on next machine and had the same problem. Tried the rest with same result. Hoped it was a Canadian thing.

So are the chips in the bv's for canadian currency? My machines have WBA's as well, but they are on american currency. If i could change the chip and make it canadian that would be amazing.

The chips are marked W21CAN023 V1.79-04   WBA-21-SS. These machines all have 2000 dates of manufacture . I thought that the S2000 ended the S+

Sounds like you got some of the last ones made! I've seen 1998s, and seems like 1999s, but never had a 2000 made S+.

I have a bunch of S+ machines built in late 1998. Some of them have WBA-21-SS in them. Would you be interested in selling me the chips you removed?? I'm curious if it will work with canadian currency
