Changing game on BB1.5 , monitor issue

I am changing a transmissive 3 reel to a straight video. Once I clear and install WOZ Ruby Slippers. I get to the set up menu and am able to set up the game. Once I close the door it starts to load and configure the game. Once the top screen shows up about a minute later the bottom screen goes blank. Also if I open the door the alarm does not sound. I can reinstall the old game and it’s fine. It does have a BB2 CPU. also tried two monitors and does the same thing

Did you disable top box in the game setup screen?

This sounds like a DVI cable issue.  Are you using a DVI-D or a DVI-1 cable?  Maybe try a different cable.  Do you have any other games you can try to see if it does this on all games?

 I don’t have any other regular games only my transmissive games that’s what’s making this so hard And is there a major difference between the two DVI cables I didn’t even think about that? Also it lets me set up the game but only shut down after trying to load it

You have to go though the process of elimination to figure it out. If you don’t have any other game to verify then you are stuck. It is probably either the cable or the graphics card in the monitor causing the problem.

What OS are you running with it?  I believe the recommended OS is H13.11   

I would only run the minimum OS family listed on the card.  Some of the newer/later OS's don't play nice with the 19 inch monitors sometimes........................

Just a thought.

Good point Steve, the older games are not necessarily compatible with a newer OS
