WTB S+ reel strips

I got the MegaBuck machines up and running. The reel strips don't match. The glass payouts do.

I need 2 sets of Double Diamond Deluxe w/ nudge for SS4245

I need 2 sets of Red, White, and Blue for SS4633

I need 2 sets of 5 times for SS7205

And 1 set of Triple Diamond for SS4784

Let me know what you have. Jim

I think this is what I need
Doub. Dia. Deluxe (4) 85895400 and (2) 5500
5X (6) 84859700
Red, White and Blue (2) 85872600, (2) 2700, and (2) 2800
Trip. Dia. (1) 84850800, (1) 77200, and (1) 77300

We have the RWB and 5x strips for single line games. I'm not sure what you are you meaning when you say reel strips do not match up, but glass payouts match up? What are the glass payouts matching up to?

on the DD deluxe the nudge goes the wrong way. And as far as the glass 1 bar, 2 bar, 3 bar, cherry are paying right except there will not be a win for megabuck as glass has.

Did the machines come with the reel strips that are giving incorrect pays? And did you receive the machines with software? When you say the nudge is going the wrong way, that almost sounds more like a software issue IMHO.

machines came with software missing replaced with the above SS chips. The chips #'s I would need are SS4702, SS7100, SS8435, and SS7099 to match the strips. I have been told that even if I had the right chips machine would not work because of progressive (I'm not sure of this) just what I was told

Hmmm  :Scratch-Head:  I don't want to say too much, because i obviously missed the first half of this party. I'm confused a little bit. If the machines came with strips, why are you wanting to replace them with non-MegaBucks strips? Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of having a MegaBucks machine? Or is it because you cannot find the correct software you need?




Edit: ok, I think I'm catching up now. By looking at my software spreadsheets, I'm guessing you just can't find the MB software, so you're just gonna put in the non-MB strips and software. But won't the players notice there is no MB symbol on the strips? But after changing to non-MB strips and SS, then the payouts on the glass arent going to match.

I have the megabuck strips and glass in RWB  / DDD /TDD   . And software but could never get the clear /key chip to make it work they were all progressives . I do not think these are standalone machines but could be wrong . It would be cool to get them to work . P.B.

Yea, P.B. that is what I was told about the software. I don't understand why it would not work because of the progressive. Would think just turn the key. It sounds like you and some others tried it and it was no go. I can accept that others in this hobby longer than me could not make it work. At the same time I would like to get 1 proper chip and play around. They have the progressives in them and just light as zero's. The pain is they are all 16" tops. I can buy kits @ 40. incl. shipping. They have no coin-in or hoppers, so I am by-passing the coin-in and setting hopper pay to zero. I am trying to keep my cost down as right now I have about 100 in each machine. If lucky I may get 350 each.


And Ros. yes you are correct. The glass will have MB symbols but not the strips. All other pay's will be good. What is so special about the correct chips that make them need the progressive? The 2 machines I could get to had dates of 1/00 and 4/00 for S+.

Good job, Yours are S2000 and mine are S+ or did you just put glass in S2000? Did you use 0800, 7200, and 7300 reel strips?
