NXT3.2 Prepart Error

Hey guys I just got an NXT3.2 and trying to boot it with the ram clear and I keep getting this error. I also have a RED LIGHT at D25 on the MPU. Pictures included. The flash cards are good and verified and reseated the MPU a few times. Same error. Could it be the hard drive?

I checked with the bent pins and all good there. It runs the NXT 1 & 2 just fine. I read the other thread with a simular error but his error had a "signature" error. Not sure if its just worded differently on NXT3.

Charles,

The red led does not bode well for some issues.  Prepart issue is usually the CF card. Are you using NXT 3 clear card?  Is it OEM?  Have you tested it?  Remember the windows 10 issue as well.

After all that, your power harness is WMS or ??

Yes the power harness is from WMS...


OEM cards and I know about the Windows 10 issue. I used Windows 8 and never had a problem with the cards. I even down graded to Windows Vista and same problem. I am thinking the CF Card is not making a connection to the MPU? Anything else I should be looking for?


A RED light appears on the SSD when powered up. Is that normal?

I've never noticed a light on the SSD before.  Are you using a WMS 512mb card for the clear?  Can you check with whomever you bought the CPU from and ask if they can swap it out for you?

On my CPUs only the 4 left LEDs are green all the time.  All the others are not lite up.
