S+ Cashout button toggles coin payout to credits

Hi. Everyone


New member here. I've tried the search but couldn't find this.



Changed my SP chip out as the original one broke off some pins.  Replaced it with the same one off ebay SP731.  Dips are 1-4 on 5-8 off.  Weird thing is now the cashout button toggles on/off the light, also coin payout or credits when a win is shown.  That's if 0 credits in window and I push the cashout button it will light up and pay all wins to credits. on the flip side if I toggle the cashoutt button light off all wins will payout in coins.  But if I selected light on it will say on and when a win happens goes to credits, push it again all credits payout in coins.  Hummmm


Not sure if that's normal?

Yes that setting is normal.  You can change it if you want.

Thanks for the reply!. settings were 5-0 and 8-0  changed to 5-1 and 8-1 fixed.  But now I kinda like it now just like the old days when slots paid out on every win.


Another note,  I have a jackpot bell installed but no wiring harness to connect it up.  Where on the mother does it connect to?  I see lots of connections not used, must be one of those.

Nevermind,  searched "wiring diagram"  found it!
