IGT 504 rev. B S2000 boards

I have several IGT 504 rev. B boards. Tested and working. I've removed the varta battery, installed a battery holder for the button cell battery so you never have to solder. I'll include a new battery. I've also installed a mml sound board with 042 simm installed. $195 shipped

Hi, Can you put me down for a board as well when you get them in? I have a 504B with a coin cell holder and the green battery removed years ago, but I guess it had already done its damage. The machine worked before it sat for about 10 years. I got it working, but I get the "Door Open MB" error. The error clears after about 20 minutes or so. I guess the board heats up and the connection is made. I tried cleaning/repairing the traces under where the green battery was, but it did not make a difference.

Would this replace a 7551050 Rev A board?  I had a Varta issue and removed it.  Board looks fine but still have Open Door MB.  Not sure if there is another step after removing the battery.  Thinking I need a new board and can't find the exact board I have anywhere.

If your machine is an IGT S2000 this board will work, it will enable enable enhanced sounds. I also have a board like yours that does not have the upgraded sound capabilities. $150 shipped.

Thought I would give the old board one more chance.  I cleaned up the board under the recently removed Varta battery and put in a new CR2032 because the old one was operating at 2.95v.  Put it back in and got a RAM error.  tried to reset by turning the service key 4 times and hitting the reset.  Said to close the door.  With the Varta out, and the machine looking for the door to close, I would assume the board is dead because the door should be bypassed?  Anyway, the newer board and sound would be cool.  Send me a PM with your information and I will send you mine and the money.  I've learned everything I know about slots from this site and will research the new board install, but wanted to ask anyway.  Do I just pull the old EPROM chips off the board and install them on the new and ready to go?

You're supposed to check the door emitter and the cabinet receiver optics first, to see if any are burned out, because bypassing them won't work if the MPU board is dead...right? haha

To check the door emitter, turn on the power switch, and view the emitter with a digital camera.
You should see a blue-ish light flickering out of it.

To check the cabinet receiver optic, disconnect the 2-pin harness, put a multimeter on ohms, and read the two pins in the optic connector by shining a flashlight in an out of the receiving optic...the numbers on the multimeter will change if it's good.
