BB1 Drop Door Error Won't Clear

I have a Door open D Error - Drop Door- on a BB1. I have a Mars BV, have made sure cash can door is closed and pushing back on lever to close switch but the error won't clear. Is there another switch that causes this error and is it possible to by pass it. This was a working machine. Any ideas what to look for?

Drop door is a connector that is usually jumpered.  Some dealers put a cherry switch, others cut wires and jump them, others put a jumper molex at the end of the connector.  There should be a tied up bundle of cables with a P5 label on it that ends on a 6 pin molex connector, or a cherry switch depending on how the dealer chose to do it.

Found it, there was a cherry switch with the button taped down and the tape had come off. I thought being a "Drop Door" error it had something to do with the switch on the BV. IF I want to get rid of the switch, what wires get put to gather?

If it's a standard cherry switch you should be able to just pull the switch peg up and it will stay out. When you do this the switch acts like it would when it is pushed in. That way you don't have to tape it down against the spring pressure.

Blade Drop Door "D" Error Won't Clear

I just picked up a Blade today.  I have the same Door D open.  Can anyone send me a pic of where this switch is located.  I can't seem to find it.

It's the bundle of cables on the bottom of the cabinet.  There's a 6 pin molex plug that jumpers the drop door closed.
