Old igt pinball slot has sound but the bonus pinball sound dont work

How do I turn bonus game sound on or what do I need to replace to get it to work?

Welcome to the site.  Pinball is an IGT slot with an added Barcrest module for the Pinball bonus.  The sound for the Pinball bonus is generated by the Barcrest unit, while the reel spin sounds are generated by the machine.

Pinball exists on multiple IGT slot platforms, starting with the S+, later the S2000, and now is currently in casinos on the S3000 platform.  Chances are that your machine is an S+ or an S2000.  You can tell for sure by looking at the reel glass on the machine.  If all of the displays below the reels are red LEDs, you have an S+.  If you have a blue vacuum fluorescent display (VFD) that shows the credits, and can give error messages such as "DOOR OPEN" or similar, you have an S2000 machine.

If you're still not sure, please post a photo or two of your machine and we can help you identify it.

You do have an IGT S+ with Barcrest Pinball. The two modules you posted pictures of are both part of the Barcrest unit. I'm not an expert with them, but I believe the black unit is the processor for the Barcrest bonus, and the white module contains the software for your specific game (Pinball).

Aside from suggesting that you adjust the two volume pots that can be seen in your pictures, and making sure everything is connected together well, you'll need to wait for someone with more experience with the Barcrest units to chime in.

Do you get any sounds at all on the machine? If not, I'd trace the wiring coming from your speaker, which is located at the bottom of the main front door of the machine.

I messed with both volumes no bonus game sound although I do get the regular slot sound from the speaker at the bottom .Thank you for your help I will wait around to hear from someone else fir more trouble shooting 👍

The volume pots can go bad. Usually you can turn them back and forth a few times to get contact again or spray with contact cleaner

There's also volume control in the menu.. Or, you have battery acid damage on the MPU that ate the traces.

How do I reach the volume in the control menu this may be the only option I have left ...I assume this is done by using the  reset key ?

He said he's getting the normal S+ sounds though, so wouldn't that eliminate this adjustment as being the issue?

There's a bonus volume in the menu. The par sheet for that would show which #'s.. Or I can check on my Pinball when I get time.

You can also change the bonus music and attract music in the menu, along with volumes for both of those.

See the Jewel Par, it may be the same '58' menu but not sure.
