Author Topic: IGT s2000 502mpu wont Boot up, need help... (Read 1996 times)

just got a couple older slots, one of which is a 93' IGT 10x Pay. had a missing power supply and a burnt chip on the MPU u67 if i remember right, something to do with the netplex. I got a used power supply and MPU board. the machine with no mpu installed will light up back lights and display reads netplex down and the BV will make some noises. However when the Mpu is installed back lights still come on but no BV noise and VFD is blank, all green and one yellow LED lights are on solid, i have checked voltage at the backplane input , its 13+ volts while trying to boot. any help would be much appreciated... i did try a clear 97 and key 17, and they worked as they should, i think..

What software are you using? I see a base chip on one of those boards & what appears to be 2 pair of ram chips. No Stepper game chips, no Version chip. I can help you with chips if you don't have them. The 10X Pay is a S2000. It can't be a 1993 model. They didn't exist yet. Someone may have changed the data plate to circumvent a state law. Post a legible pic of all your software chips & we can sort out what you have & what you need.
