OK! Mark this as SOLVED!!!


The BEZEL CARD was the reason the game would Error out! Wooohooo!


So if anyone does a conversion, you only need to connect the MPU USB cable to the RCU. Disconnect ALL others and you will be fine.


I can Ram Clear now and load up the game, play it... and enjoy it! Now I need an extra 1GB MPU....lol

Yes you have to have a dual video card and 1gig board. 2gb memory for some of the games. It's a shame there's a small number of games on this setup.

So I plan on investing into this setup in the future and I was wondering, for the secondary touch screen cable, is this some fancy rare com port cable only made by Bally or will I need some kind of adapter that plugs into the touch screen serial cable and connects to the COM9 port on the backplane? I’m horrible with wires.

No, it is just a DB9 to the molex 5 pin connector.  All you need to wire is RX/TX/GND
