Is the white border inside the screen all the way around?
If not, you may find the adjustment in the OSD menu and reduce the vertical size a little?

I just wanted to close out this post.  I purchased a new connector from Digikey PT# WM1730-ND for the wiring harness from the AO board and the inverter board.  Be very careful when trying to disconnect the harness from the inverted board.  On the bottom side of the connector it has a notch on both ends that fits into the connector on the board.  You need to somehow, slightly pry it up from the bottom to separate the wiring harness.   
My vertical problem was solved by the adjustment under the monitor menu, setup, scaling.
