PE+ Superboard Screen not showing games

Hi Everyone, I am new around here and recently inherited a machine from my Grandfather.  I grew up playing on it but it has been sitting for probably 4 years unused.  From my research on this forum, I think I have a PE+ machine with a superboard as it is a multi-poker game machine with 5 games.

When I go to start the machine, the screen starts up with bluish/green color that slowly fades to nothing.  This screen also has lines that come with the bluish color and then disappear. The monitor does have static and appears it will work, but I fear the MPU is is poor share since a battery looking cylinder is very corroded.  I've attached some pictures.  Please let me know if you have any tips or links to other forums posts to help with my issue.

Update - I have added a new battery and I still have the same issue.

I think you are going to have to find a new superboard.  The corrosion from that battery leaking has damaged it and is why it no longer works.

That was my concern and probably next step.  The metal tray is in rough shape but the MPU itself doesn't look terrible...I think.  Will any superboard PE+ work in this machine and load the same five games or does it take a specific MPU?

Yes any PEII superboard will work.  You'll just need to transfer your game EPROMs to the new board.

Thanks for your help again!  Another update, I was able to clean the MPU with some alcohol and the screen went to a pure blue screen (until I restarted) and even some of the draw buttons lit up.  I'm trying to post any updates incase this means anything else.
Is there a picture of the EPROMs to show me what those are on the MPU?
