Not really. Usually anyone refurbing a slot for home use - strips this stuff out and tosses it.
Player tracking equipment would interface with a central computer at a casino and allow points to accumulate towards various comps.
Not much use to a home slot owner, especially given that the master computer is not there.
Sometimes people buy the Mastercom card readers which have blinky lights around the outside and a scrolling message.
You can hack the Eprom on those and say "Welcome to Mike's Casino" or similar. Other than the blinky lights and the scrolling message they are non-functional.
