BB2 Button Unresponsive

Howdy. We have a BB2 button that will not respond. On the button itself we have found that there is an area that, when the button is pressed, a part of the mechanism will breach causing a disruption between tiny light sensors. One of these miniscule sensors has broken off. If anybody has one of these buttons in front of them, it is the tiny sensor marked "Q2". I am in need of the correct name of the sensor in question so that I can track it down, buy it, and fix the button, but I am wondering if it is worth the headache. I'd rather not spend the $300 for a new button if I can keep from it, but hey...stuff happens. I've attached two images for reference. I appreciate any and all help.

people sell the button boards all the time for not a whole lot.  The oleds fade once they reach a certain age no matter what you do, so they trash the button panel and sell off whatever can be salvaged.  You could just buy a board and use it or harvest parts from it.

You'd have to do some digging around but I'm sure a company like Mouser.com would have an optic receiver part like that.
