No way to stop the progressive, it is just volatility, unusual as it is, that is just the nature of the RNG. Any standard game cabinet made by a manufacturer can have any game installed on it as long as it was designed for the same platform. If it is a video titles, you just need the software, for stepper reels, you will need the reel strips and the software. Some of us don't care if the glass/plexi artwork matches the game being played (although for stepper reel games that need the graphics to display the paytable, you kind of need it, unless the paytable is displayed on an LCD scree), if you want the machine to look factory, then you will also need the corresponding graphic inserts/glass/plexi to match the theme.
