Lobstermania loading error

Turned on the machine today and got this error. Not quite sure where to start troubleshooting? Any help is greatly appreciated.

The coin battery in your top box has died.
You will need an old computer keyboard with the small purple plug and a cr2032 coin battery.
Carefully open the top box and replace the battery on the computer motherboard inside.
Then plug in the keyboard. The plug is on the side of the top box. USB keyboard will not work it must be the old style with the small purple din plug.
Start the machine and keep pressing the delete key until the computer bios screen  comes up.
Tab over to where it says "load optimized defaults " and hit enter. Save optimized defaults and then go to save and exit. Press yes to save. Machine should then reboot without errors.  Turn off unplug keyboard and you should be good to go.

Does it matter if the ps2 is a 5 or 6 pin din?

Never had that question before. If you're asking are all 6 pins used I don't know.
All of the ps2 keyboards that I have are 6 pin. If the 5 pin locates the pins in a physically different position it will not work as the motherboard in the top box is 6 pin.

I actually use an old ACER keyboard. See above post.
5 bucks delivered can't beat that.
If you have the 5 pin and it plugs in it probably won't hurt to try it.
I have also used the foldable silicone ones successfully
