Is there a way to change the jackpot/handpay melody on the game king? I really like the IGT PE JACKPOT MELODY is it possible to change melody if so how?

The sound software is tied to the graphics and logic software, if you put another sound simm, you will get an error at boot and the game will be unplayable.  Board mods do nothing on gaming machines.  Gaming machines are highly regulated, so when their software is certified, it needs to prove to the jurisdictional authorities that everything in the system is as the manufacturer intended, otherwise you get tilts. There are only a few non-play related modifications that will work, typically lighting and cabinet mods, but when it comes to the software, there's little or nothing you can do about it.

The old P.E.+ Poker music/melody is really cool.  They should have kept it on the game kings as an option or something.

Back in the old days of the tone generator IC's LOL.  Those are the same songs that were available for the 4th of July S+ theme!  I always liked those songs during the free spins.

I distinctly remember hearing the "We're in the Money" tune while walking through a casino and seeing someone await a handpay. I thought "that's a good song to play for that!"

Some bally alpha steppers use that song for handpays.  I think one of the blazing 7's variants with 5 lines uses that if I'm not mistaken.  I'll have to load it up and play $100 denom so I can trigger a handpay easily.
