Universal Video Poker model 8304 - How to make winnings go to credits?

The machine is paying all winnings out of the hopper but there must be an option available to have the winnings go to credits.  Lacking a manual I have tried everything I can think of to get into a set up menu of some kind but no luck.  Any guidance?

Hmmm, can't remember. Will need to take a ride to my storage unit, believe there is a small 8304 manual there.

OK, found the manual. I used to have this scanned on pdf but cannot find it. Must have been lost in last computer crash a few years back.

There are two settings, by dip switch only. They are credit only and credit selectable. Yours must be set on credit selectable now. Just push the cashout button BEFORE you begin playing. It should light up (if bulb works) and stay lit. Then as you play the credits will accumulate to upper limit, again set by dip switch. If you push cashout again it will drop all credits.

On the 8304 board the dip switches for above are on Dip Switch #2. I'll take a phone pic of the settings and post them.

If you pull the board and change anything you must do a RAM clear on startup.

Jim,  Thanks a million.  Looks like all the info I need. Now If I could just get another hopper for it I will have a complete and functional machine.  The little rubber wheel inside that runs off the belt drive has turned to tar.  Get a nice black smear on each coin coming out as the wheel gets smaller & smaller.
