Bally 742a Meters

I finally got my Bally 742a working and just got replacement in/out meters to put in since the originals were gone..Does anyone have a picture where they connect on the reels or a secamatic where they go ...thanks

depends on what version of the 742A you have - they made hundreds of different games -  but they are often the same unless you have a machine made for a customer with special needs.


what is the full model number on the plate below the handle?

On the left side of the reel mechanism there is a small bundle of wires that comes forward.
Possibly cut and tucked back and tape or tied together. If this is the case, these would be the meter signal wires.

From my recollection there is.

Three wires to operate the switches, could be a white/yellow, brown/white and orange.
The meters themselves have two short leads that are the same color.
If everything is in working order it wouldn’t matter which meter the wires were hooked to.
I’ll look for a schematic tomorrow and post a photo of the section containing the information.
