What can I do to upgrade my Game King?

New member, long time Game King fan. This was my go to when my dad and I used to go to the casino.


I just bought a slant top this past weekend and everything seems to work except the bill validator. I got some cleaning cards in and it now accepts money though still real dirty so thinking I may just replace it with a refurbed WBA-12 or 13.


Now the main question. I have included pics and looking for what I currently have and what can I upgrade it to get more games? I know I need a keychip to do things and I was eyeing up the Bettor TITO. Can I upgrade to a newer version of the software? Do I need to replace the board?


What SIMM boards does it take? I have a bunch of old PC memory if it is compatible.

The SIMMs are flash memory containing specific video & sound info for a particular game. They have nothing to do with computer RAM. You can change the game that is installed on your board but you're not going to get much better than what you have, 12 games enabled per denomination. For a real upgrade get a 044 MPU, mother board & flash board. Expensive but worthwhile. Pics are of GK 6.4 (044 platform).

Thanks for the reply! I will take a look at an upgrade in the near future. I read a lot about a keychip to make changes. What one do I need for my version?
