I bought a Triple Jackpot S-Plus with acid damage on the MPU board. Cleaned up the damage and replaced the battery and a capacitor. Installed it in the machine and it came up with a 61 code, hit the white button and it came up 61-1. Would not reset and went back to a 61 code only. Removed the game and reel chips and installed in another spare MPU board, the exact same thing happened. Now all I can get is a 61 code on both boards no matter what. I understand that a clear and set chip are a last resort, so I am fishing for any other ideas before going down that road. It does have a bill validator.
