I have a CDS 1910 REAL DEAL machine. I had 450 credits and someone hit the payout button.
The machine ran out of quarters and we had to reload. The machine finish and now the light on top flashes , the screen is up and it ask for money. It will not take bills or coins. If I open the door I can see the coin mech light is not on. The bill validation will run it cycle on start up. I removed the battery so I could initialize and nothing changed,the same the light flashing and it will not except any money.
Everything worked fine before the payout. How do I clear the Machine?

I only set one of these up one time but if you removed the battery then you need to use the setup chips to set it back up again.

I have a Real Deal, it's in storage now. I changed the battery and no setup chips were needed.
The coin mech will not be lit with door open and that's not your problem anyways as BV won't work either.
You say INCERT COIN is flashing?
I would try turning reset key and check error menu.
