IGT S+ 62-1 code

Here is what I got, doing game change on my s+ from red white and blue to homerun game after installing every thing I got no lights in the coin in or credits. The sp and ss chips were  copies. I changed sp chip and then got code 62-1. I changed the board same thing. I put the red white and blue ss chip back in and works fine. So I purchased a new ss chip ss3371 HOME RUN 3CBP and got the same code 62-1. If I have the wrong sp chip will that cause the 62-1 code. So I need to know what sp chip would I use with the ss3371 chip, The game is a 3 coin single pay line on a 10MHZ board. I tried a sp1148 ,sp1227, sp1271 and a sp1311.

62-1 is telling you that your data (SS) chip is bad.  Replace it with a known good chip.

Edited to add:

Home Run is a Type 0 game.  SP1227, SP1271, and SP1311 will work for sure.  I don't have a PSR for SP1148, so I can't say for sure on that one, but it might work.

Time to find a new chip source....but that's just IMHO....your mileage may vary.
