IGT S2000 Bill Acceptor will not light and will not work - FIXED

I have a IGT S2000 Double Diamond Run....it takes coins and usually bills.....The machine worked fine about 2 months ago... I installed a new battery and now the machine works well with the coins but the bill acceptor does not light and does not work. I checked the wires...the acceptor starts up when I turn on the machine but no light and it does not work.

I went to the options menu and enabled the bill acceptor, but still nothing.....I took another acceptor from another machine and the same thing happened....I was able to do a bill test..it worked fine.....Did I miss a step in the setup or options menu??? Do I have to clear chip the machine to reset it... ?  Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. John

Try doing a netplex autoconfig from the menu.  Sometimes that helps.

FIXED....Thank you...I did the Auto-Config and also read in another posting that if the credits on the machine are higher than the amount set in the machine, the bill acceptor light will not come on. I reduced the credits below 2000 and the machine started to accept bills........Thanks again...you guys are the best.

Normally the BV will stop accepting currency when you have more than $3000 in credits on the machine or when the amount you try to put in would put you over the $3000 limit.
