Vertical mod for horizontal top

Just thinking aloud, has anyone ever tried to adapt a larger, say 36” screen to an avp using a dvi switch box? I probably wouldn’t do it, but just for conversation sake... I could mount a 36-40” using a wall mount and run both screens thru a switching box, so if I were to play something like CSI, hit the switch and use the wall mounted screen for the full effect. I don’t know if the dvi card would automatically adjust to the vertical screen like some computers would while in operation, or would it cause issues.

A buddy I sold a G23 to said ANY TV will work if you use a DVI to HDMI out adapter (I'm 99% sure that's what he did), and he now has a similar setup for those type of games. - I can give him a call today to verify if you want?

No need, my tinkering mind was going again. I would guess that the vid card would auto adjust as well. I’ve been in casinos where there’s a bad connection and the screen would flicker to “check cable“ and then come back on. And with LED monitors so light and thin, it’d be doable.

He tried a couple TVs and they wouldn't work properly until he connected them with an HDMI, then it worked perfect.
