Honestly, if he is going to get himself into a video slot/poker/keno machine, it is much better to buy one that is fully shopped and comes with a warranty from a reputable dealer. The monitors on these things can be nightmare if you get an old monitor with tired caps and CRT. Why not drive the 9 hours or so to Virginia (I believe that would be your closest state where you can find slot dealers for home use) and walk into a showroom and pick what he really wants, and not just settle because it was available locally?
