Bally alpha s9000e reel errors

Hi I just got a 3 reel game that was stripped of some parts it was missing the reel control board and sound board up top under the screen right above the reels. I bought a reel board and sound board cleared the game and did set up and am still getting a few errors for reel 4 and 5 ?? Is there a difference in board for a 3 reel and 5 reel? Spin inc. tilt me that they are all the same? Is there something I’m missing? I tried to calibrate the reels and got the 3 reels where ther supposed to be ? But still get the reel 4 and 5 error??

You may be using the software for a 5 reel game, so the game is expecting reels 4 and 5.
