MAME has a bunch of system sets preserved and some early-stage emulation (the games pass the self-tests but hang before it can get to the familiar "Found 1 video chip/Loading resources" message, as nothing else has been hooked up or emulated e.g. buttons/doors/hopper etc.), however the PowerVR video chip (PMX1 aka Neon 250) isn't emulated - it is superficially similar to the GPU used in the Sega Dreamcast/NAOMI (PowerVR CLX2), but still different enough that the Dreamcast emulation can't be used. On top of that, protocols such as QCOM (and SAS, ASP, VLC, X-series etc.) are completely unemulated as well, so any games which need to be set up remotely (and continuously phone home too) will end up failing miserably.
