Bally 5500 MPU Boards

Hi everyone, I am looking for a Bally 5500 MPU Board with tray. Tested and working with Leave in Mains.


Please PM me with what you have available and Price. Also a coin comparitor based on the information below.


also missing a short cable That connects to the comparitor. It's a CC-16D .100 About 7" but could be shorter.

The S6000 can use leave in mains but the S5500 has maintenance and supervisory chips that can be different for different U18 and U20 game chips. No leave in chips.

That was true but, I have 3 Boards now for the 5500 purchased with leave in Mains not requiring a clear chip and JJslots.com sells these IC's also, replacing U3, U4, U12, U15. When these are installed you just have to set your SRam Clear Jumper.

Yes, those are the supervisory chips that are used to communicate with the I/O sections of  the board and make a working game.
BUT, those chips are not the complete end all solution to every game system. Some game software requires their own specific 4 chips to work.
They are the most popular set of 4 chips that are used, I agree, I use them also, but in my years of repairing S5500 boards have I found game software that will not work with that specific set.
Don't call them "leave in mains", call them "the most popular and latest supervisory chips that work on most game systems and allow clearing the memory by using the SRAM jumper".

Ok, That's good to know. So far these are working out for me but I see that it might not be always the case. I appreciate your response and information. I know I have a lot to learn!!!
