Hello everyone, I’m working on a S2000 DD Haywire machine. The battery was dead so I replaced it, did a clear and key procedure had the ram error message ,turned the reset key, went through the usual messages until I got to “please close door” closed the door and the message was still there. I swapped out the cherry with a good one from another machine still no change, checked the alignment of the sensors made a adjustment no change. So I pulled the mpu to check for corrosion and noticed this jumper wire that I have not seen on any other of my machines. Could this be the issue? Is this how you bypass the door sensor? Any help would be much appreciated.

That jumper is supposed to be there on 501, 502 & some early 504 boards. The battery acid eating into the traces is likely your problem.
