IGT S+ 3300 error keeps returning after resetting

I have an S+, that shows the 3300 code, after using the reset procedure for the 3300 code the code keeps returning.  The hopper is full of coins, any suggestions?  I have changed the hopper with another machine but that does not fix the problem.

Could you tell us what "reset procedure" you performed?  That may help figure out what's going on.

I made sure the hopper had plenty of coins and then turned the machine off and then back on.  I keep getting a flashing 3300 code.thanks Byron

So two different hoppers loaded with coins still give 3300 code?  Can you hear the hopper motor running?  Is the hopper turning at all?

hopper motor is not turning with either hopper installed.

I swapped out entire board with one that works.  The machine worked fine until I hit a pay line,  hopper motor did not come on and then the 3300 code appeared. Hope that helps.

If you have a known good working hopper and the motor is not running then its a power problem.
The hopper plug may have a loose wire but I would check your fuses as a more likely cause.


Turning the machine off/on isn't going to clear the machine from trying to make a pay.
They are highly resilient as to their last state. Ie if it was paying out, power at the casino died, when the power came on it would continue to pay out.
If it was in the middle of a reel spin, it would complete the spin when power came back. Etc Etc.


You can however press the white setup button multiple times until it appears to come back to the normal state then close the door and it will clear the 3300.
You would be good until the next time you hit any kind of pay out.

The hopper I used was from a working machine it will not work in the machine I am working on.  I swapped the CB's from a working machine to to one I am working, no luck.  I appreciate your help , any other suggestions?

If checking the fuse didn’t bear fruit then I suggest you start at the hopper plug and map out power and connectivity. Check for loose coins under the motherboard (the fixed board that the MPU is plugged into).
