Looking  :sherlock: for an Used IGT AVP cabinet.
I have all the 3.0 guts....just need the scrap metal and door... :thank_you:

Main difference is screen sizes G20" versus G22" versus G23" ?

I'm thinking I'd need the G22 or G23 cabinet because of the video card's limitations.

No the inside guts of a G23 and a G22 are different from a G20, so you have to make sure the "guts" you have are the right type.  The G23 had 2 boards for the backplane that connect to each other perpendicularly.  If you only have the really long backplane that does not have a pair of connectors with like 4 rows of pins, then you have a G20 backplane.  The "G22" is the what is called the Universal Slant (same backplane config as a G23).  The monitors do not fit into each other's spaces, so you need to make sure the monitors you have are for the right cabinet.  All 3 of these cabinets use the same mpu type, so there's no "video card" limitation issues.

okay good...I have the double backplane version and I have the other long one as well [ PN 75831401W Rev A.]

The "401W" backplane board I like....looks much simpler than the other one with the double boards.

Not to nitpick, but a g22 and a universal slant are 2 different cabinets.  The backplanes may be the same, but they are 2 distinctly different cabinets.

I stand corrected on the universal vs G22.  I always thought they were one in the same, but I was incorrect.

The backplane you are showing is not for a G20 either, I believe it is for the older style IGT AVP video cabinet, probably the same one used in the SMLD cabinet as well.

Just to be clear.....I'm looking for an "upright" cabinet....haha
I have 22" AND 23" touchscreen monitors....so to me, it doesn't matter one inch either way.

I heard these were a pain in the butt and people were gutting them out to sell the parts?

I'm guessing poor heatsinks/fan CPM because from what see, they're way too small to handle the heat.
It's a good things the graphics are fairly simple but if they were with more animation/video, these graphic cards would die.
The big fan on the brainbox is huge tho so that's a plus! :cool_thumb_up:

I noticed  :sherlock: my CPU is running at around 91 degrees stable on the bench.
I'll bet it gets way hotter inside of a cabinet with LCDs and lighting?
