Can anyone tell if I'm missing any parts to this old Bally E1000? Model number?

Trying to figure out the model number, the serial code is 1112-36 with a 7 below. It is a 3 reel/ 6 quarter machine with the 6th quarter being jackpot.


Have some fixing to do with the electronics still but were stuck on the reel mechanism. When you pull the arm, it barely spins the wheels. Saw a video, looks like we might be missing a part? The toggle link? Anyone familiar with this machine?

there part you are missing is a rubber bumper

your program prom/eprom says it's an E-2208.  Fey's book says that's a 6 coin muliplier, so that agrees.


toggle links are under the reels.  It looks like your stop bracket in the bottom-right corner may be too far to the right so the kick is happening early before the reel arms have latched back ... symptom of that is the the reels don't really spin. 


if you move the stop bracket too far to the left, the handle will bottom out and stick down before the kickoff happens.

the mpu is a e1000 - reel mech seems to have the smaller molex indicative of E1000 - you can run e2000 eproms on an e1000 - but m1,m2, m3 must still be E1000 chips.  I am trying to remember that you can run e1000  mpu in a e2000 but I think you have to add jumpers to the reed relay (Alan jump in)
as i pointed out earler - with rubber bumper missing the trip lever travels to far and probably cause the machine not to cycle.

I don't have enough info on the E-series.


the basic E-1112 was a 5 coin multiplier.  Would Bally have produced an E-1112-36 model with the E-2208 program and appropriate glass or did someone do a mashup later?   The lowboy cabinet and cpu board is all E1000 stuff.


it's hard to see from the camera angle if the bumper is inside the holder, but either way the stop bracket and possibly the drive shaft length will need to be adjusted to get the kick to happen after the toggle links have latched. 


if the bumper is missing, it needs to be replaced first or it may not be possible to get the kick to happen late enough without bottoming out the handle and/or be able to slide the reel mech out of the cabinet easily.

the nugget a whole range of machine numbers you won't find in any books - mostly low boy - and Harrahs also - I worked on a lot of the 5 coin low boys - but a 6 coin - never saw on Harrahs but nugget had them - so anything Harrahs or Nugget don't be surprised to find some odd stuff. Guess they had some bored techs with nothing to do. For an added laugh those and other techs love to re-arrange some wiring on games they knew were being sold off - live swap and orange and yellow wire - lost a few boards that way until I got smart enough to put junk board in machines i got.  They also did that to EMs too.
